BIC Startups commenced its second cohort of business incubation program, ‘उद्यमी विकास कार्यक्रम २’, in April. The program was launched in collaboration with Skill Lab and Chitwan Association of Industries. The program garnered the interest from about 38 applicants.
BIC Startups organised ideation workshops in the bootcamp model between May 30 to June 4, 2021 – a virtual 6-Day Startup Bootcamp. The program was inaugurated amid a formal program in the presence of Mr. Raju Poudel, the President of Chitwan Association of Industries, Mr. Ananda B. Chand, the Chairperson of Boston International College, Mr. Nanda Kishor Mandal, the Founder Director of Skill Lab and Mr. Prem Gaire, the Head of BIC Startups.
The 6-Day Boot Camp ran for four hours everyday between 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and covered the topics like: Identification of Customer Pain Points, Brainstorming Solutions (Painkillers), Analysing solutions in the Impact/Effort Matrix, Value Proposition, Competitor Analysis, Targeting, Positioning, Market Segmentation, and Financials: Budgeting, Cost and Revenue. The facilitators of the workshops were Mr. Nanda Kishor Mandal, Founder Director of Skill Lab, Ms. Utsaha Khakurel, Business Development Manager at Naagiko Honey and Mr. Bijendra Shah, Innovation & Community Lead at Clock b Business Innovations. It was moderated, technically coordinated and co-facilitated by Mr. Niraj Aryal, Program Officer at Skill Lab.
